rie County farm bureau 2024 event

By Andi Anderson

The Erie County Farm Bureau invites its members and the community to the 2024 Annual Meeting, set to take place on September 23 at the Milan Township Hall. This event is an opportunity to reflect on the accomplishments of the past year, celebrate the dedication of members and volunteers, and establish the direction of the Farm Bureau for the coming year.

The evening begins with a Candidates Reception at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. The dinner will provide a chance for attendees to connect, share experiences, and recognize the recipients of scholarships and special awards.

After the meal, the formal business meeting will commence, during which members will elect board trustees and delegates to represent Erie County at the 2025 Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) Annual Meeting.

Additionally, proposed policy resolutions will be discussed and voted on, giving members the opportunity to influence local and state agricultural policies.

As a grassroots organization, the Erie County Farm Bureau values the voices and opinions of its members. This meeting serves as a platform for members to actively participate in the decision-making process, ensuring that their perspectives are represented in policies that impact agriculture and the broader community.

The event is open to all, with two complimentary tickets provided for each paid membership. Non-members are welcome to attend for a fee of $20. RSVPs are required by Friday, September 16, 2024, to secure your spot.

For more information or to RSVP, please call 440.877.0706 or email erie@ofbf.org. Don’t miss this chance to be part of shaping the future of agriculture in Erie County while celebrating the successes of 2024.
