The Wine N Bloom trail is returning to Northeast Ohio, offering a cheerful way to welcome spring even as the weather remains unpredictable. While snow and cloudy skies might linger, the upcoming event promises color, flavor and warm seasonal excitement.
Visitors can enjoy wine tastings and collect a variety of annual plants from 18 participating wineries, helping them prepare their gardens for brighter, sunny days ahead.
The event will run across two weekends—April 24‑26 and May 1‑3—on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Each day’s hours are from noon to 6 p.m.
Guests will travel on a self‑driving tour along the Vines & Wines Trail, stopping at wineries throughout the region. At every stop, participants will receive complimentary appetizers, wine samples, and a flowering annual plant to take home.
This year’s plants are being grown specially for the event by Sabo’s Woodside Nursery and Garden Center in Madison.
At one designated winery, each participant will also receive a basket to carry their collected plants. Event organizers encourage visitors to purchase tickets early, as they are expected to sell out quickly. Tickets can be ordered at www.OhioWines.org.
The 18 participating wineries include a mix of well‑known stops and local favorites across the region.
These wineries are:
Blind Squirrel Winery in Chagrin Falls; Buccia Vineyards in Conneaut; Corkscrew Taphouse in Geneva; Debonne Vineyards in Madison; Emerine Estates in Jefferson; Emerita Winery in Madison; Ferrante Winery & Ristorante in Geneva; Fossil Creek Winery in Madison; Grand River Cellars Winery & Restaurant in Madison; Hundley Cellars in Geneva; Laleure Vineyards in Parkman; Old Firehouse Winery in Geneva‑on‑the‑Lake; Rosabella Winery in Austinburg; Silver Crest Cellars in Madison; Stable Winery in Andover; South River Vineyards in Geneva; The Winery at Spring Hill in Geneva; and Virant Family Winery in Geneva.
Several wineries, marked with an asterisk, will also be open on Sundays. Participants may want to consider this option when choosing the winery where they will pick up their tickets.
Wine N Bloom combines spring gardening with local wine culture, making it a memorable seasonal tour for anyone looking to enjoy Northeast Ohio’s scenic and flavorful experiences.
