By Andi Anderson

The Erie County Farm Bureau will host its 2025 Annual Meeting on Monday, September 22, at the Milan Township Hall. The evening will feature a dinner, recognition of outstanding members, and important discussions on future policy directions.

The event begins with dinner at 6:30 p.m., followed by the business meeting. Attendees will participate in elections for trustees and delegates to represent Erie County at the 2026 Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) Annual Meeting.

Members will also vote on proposed policy resolutions, helping set the priorities that impact both agriculture and the community.

Scholarship winners and special award recipients will be recognized during the evening, highlighting the contributions of local youth, members, and volunteers who support the Farm Bureau’s mission.

As a grassroots organization, the Erie County Farm Bureau emphasizes that member voices are essential in shaping agriculture’s future. The meeting allows members to directly influence policies and decisions at both the local and state levels.

Dinner and the meeting are complimentary for members, with two free tickets available per paid membership. Non-members are welcome to attend for $20 per person. Reservations are required by Monday, September 15.

To RSVP, attendees can call 440-877-0706 or email erie@ofbf.org

The annual meeting remains a cornerstone of the Erie County Farm Bureau, bringing together members to celebrate accomplishments, recognize service, and establish goals for the year ahead.
