State Representative Jason Stephens of Ohio’s 93rd District has once again shown his support for local agriculture by sponsoring several Young Ag members this year.
His contribution helps young people in the community join the Farm Bureau, giving them the opportunity to stay connected to agriculture and contribute to its continued growth. This support is especially important as many young individuals rely on these programs to build their careers and skills within the agricultural industry.
Young people aged 18 to 24 who are farmers, students, or individuals whose work is directly connected to the health of Ohio agriculture are encouraged to become Young Ag members.
Membership offers a number of benefits designed to help youth stay engaged and informed about agricultural issues. Members gain access to Farm Bureau business solutions and participate in advocacy efforts that support the future of farming in Ohio.
They can also receive discounts on select Nationwide insurance products and other essential services that support life in the farm and food sector.
In addition to practical benefits, membership connects young adults to the Young Ag Professionals program. This statewide network provides leadership development opportunities, educational events, and social activities that help young members grow personally and professionally.
It also allows them to meet others who share an interest in agriculture, building a strong community for future leaders.
The statewide annual dues rate for Young Ag membership is $40. This affordable fee allows young adults to invest in their future while supporting the larger mission of the Ohio Farm Bureau—strengthening agriculture and rural communities.
State Rep. Jason Stephens’ continued sponsorship plays a meaningful role in helping more young people access these resources. His support reflects a commitment to the next generation of agricultural leaders and the long-term success of Ohio agriculture. Through community involvement, membership programs, and the dedication of local leaders, young people have more opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to the farming industry.
