GROWMARK, Inc. has announced that Luckey Farmers Inc. is joining the cooperative system as its newest associate member. This decision, approved by the GROWMARK board of directors, reinforces the strong relationship between the two organizations and expands opportunities for farmers across Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
Luckey Farmers, a long-standing agricultural cooperative established in 1919, serves grain and farm supply needs in multiple Ohio and Michigan counties.
Its facilities are located in Huron, Lucas, Monroe, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, and Wood counties. The cooperative has been a trusted resource for over a century, supporting grain marketing, crop production needs, and essential farm services for local producers.
As an associate member of GROWMARK, Luckey Farmers will now rely on GROWMARK as its primary supplier. This partnership gives farmers in the region greater access to well-known FS proprietary brands, including FS InVISION, FS HiSOY, Dieselex Gold, and FS Lubricants.
These products play an important role in crop performance, equipment care, and efficient farm operations. GROWMARK, the fourth-largest agricultural cooperative in the United States, also brings a wide membership network that reaches into Ontario, Canada, expanding collaborative potential for Ohio farmers.
Mark Weilbacher, GROWMARK Executive Vice President, Member Resources, expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership. “We’re excited to welcome Luckey Farmers Inc. into the GROWMARK System as an associate member,” he said. “This aligns with GROWMARK’s commitment to expanding and strengthening the FS presence in the Eastern U.S.”
Luckey Farmers President and CEO Dustin Brown also shared the cooperative’s excitement about the new membership. "Our relationship with GROWMARK goes back a long way, and becoming an associate member is a natural next step. Most importantly, it strengthens the resources we provide to our farmers by aligning our expertise with their individual goals to ensure the continued success of their operations.”
This collaboration highlights a continued commitment to serving Ohio’s agricultural community. By combining the strengths of both cooperatives, farmers will receive improved product access, enhanced support, and expanded opportunities for long-term success.
