U.S. Congressman Max Miller, representing Ohio's Seventh District, was recently lauded at the Ohio Corn and Wheat Growers Association's annual Celebration. The event featured the presentation of the "Guardian of Corn & Wheat" award to Congressman Miller, recognizing his exceptional advocacy for Ohio's grain farmers.
Expressing gratitude, Miller emphasized, "Working with Ohio farmers and the Ohio Corn and Wheat Growers Association has been an honor. Our farmers are vital to agriculture, and the Association’s advocacy guides my work on the Farm Bill. I'll continue supporting Ohio farmers to ensure they feed and fuel our nation."
The "Guardian of Ohio Corn & Wheat" award, not bestowed annually, signifies exemplary public policy contributions to Ohio's corn and wheat industry. Congressman Miller joins past recipients, Governor Mike DeWine (2020) and Senator Sherrod Brown (2024).
Tadd Nicholson, Executive Director of the Ohio Corn and Wheat Growers Association, commended Miller, stating, "Congressman Max Miller is a strong supporter of Ohio’s grain producers. We are honored to officially name him as a Guardian of Ohio Corn & Wheat."
Ohio's Seventh District, covering Medina, Wayne, Cuyahoga, and Holmes counties, Congressman Miller serves on the House Agriculture Committee and the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. His commitment to sustainable aviation fuel and ethanol blends underscores his impactful contributions to the grain industry.
