The 2025 Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation Golf Invitational marked a major success, raising an all-time record of $115,000 to support scholarships, grants, and programs that strengthen Ohio’s agricultural communities and workforce.
Held on June 23 at Scioto Reserve Country Club in Powell, the event brought together 160 golfers in support of the foundation’s mission to grow future leaders in agriculture. The funds raised will help students gain the education and skills needed to pursue careers in farming and agribusiness.
The Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation focuses on inspiring young people to see the value of agriculture. Its support programs are designed to build a strong, skilled workforce ready to lead Ohio agriculture into the future.
Nathan Brown, president of the Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation Board of Directors, shared his gratitude: “This milestone is more than just a number; it represents real opportunities for the next generation of farmers and agricultural leaders.”
Thanks to the generous support of sponsors, particularly Nationwide, the event’s Heritage Partner, this year’s golf outing became the most successful to date. Their contributions help fund the foundation’s innovative programming and educational outreach across the state.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation relies on these events to fuel its mission of investing in Ohio’s farm and food future. The Foundation continues to focus on scholarships, youth leadership, and support for agricultural education.
