The Ohio Farm Bureau is organizing an essential event for farmers later this year, offering insights into estate planning and tax updates. "Future Minded Farmer with Adam Sharp" will focus on forthcoming changes to farm estate tax structures scheduled to take effect in 2026.
Event Details:
- Date: November 13, 2023
- Time: 6:00 p.m. (Dinner), 6:30 p.m. (Program)
- Location: Knights of Columbus Hall in Delphos, Ohio The evening will commence with a traditional German-style dinner at 6:00 p.m., followed by the program at 6:30 p.m.
Highlights of the Program:
- Adam Sharp, Ohio Farm Bureau's executive vice president, will provide updates on the organization's initiatives aimed at delivering value to its members through advocacy, connection, and on-farm business solutions.
- Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from farm attorney Evin Bachelor, associated with Wright & Moore Law, who will offer insights into steps that can be taken now to safeguard farm interests in the future.
- Financial advisor Bruce Jones will also share valuable information during the program.
Registration and Fees:
The program is free for Ohio Farm Bureau members, while non-members can attend for a fee of $15 per person. Due to limited space, registration is encouraged and must be completed by November 6.
