Ohio Farm Owner Receives Unexpected Visit from Plane Crash Pilot

A farm owner in Eaton, Ohio got a surprise visit from a 29-year-old pilot from Dayton, who had made an emergency landing in the farm's field due to engine trouble on April 25. The pilot walked up to the farm owner's door to report the incident after his plane had rolled over and came to a stop upside down during the attempted landing.

The farm owner reported the incident to the Preble County Sheriff's Office, who arrived on the scene to investigate the situation. The pilot stated that he had attempted to land on the road, but due to lack of airspeed, he had to land in the field.

Fortunately, the pilot did not suffer any injuries during the incident. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has been notified and will be investigating the incident further.
