Around 275 units of the affected Whipping Cream were distributed in Ohio, including Columbus, Cleveland, and Athens, between December 24 and December 28, 2023. The recall specifically concerns Whipping Cream Pints labeled with an expiration date of January 14, 2024. Snowville Creamery estimates that approximately 25% of the impacted product will be recaptured.
This concern came to light during routine product testing conducted by the Ohio Department of Agriculture. While there have been no reported cases of illness related to the recalled products, individuals experiencing any signs or symptoms of foodborne illness after consuming Snowville Creamery Whipping Cream with an expiration date of January 14, 2024, are urged to promptly seek medical advice.
Customers who have purchased the affected product during the mentioned distribution period are advised to discard it as a precautionary measure.
