Applications are now open for the 2025 Oklahoma Youth Leading Agriculture (OYLA) Conference, a premier leadership program for high school juniors passionate about agriculture.
Organized by the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers committee, the event will take place May 27-30, 2025, in Oklahoma City.
OYLA provides students with valuable agriculture industry insights through hands-on activities, leadership development projects, and industry tours. Participants will have the chance to interact with experienced professionals and learn about modern agricultural practices.
Selected students will be housed in a local hotel alongside OKFB staff and student counselors for the duration of the program.
Applicants must submit a high school transcript, ACT/SAT scores, GPA, leadership experience, and a 150-word essay on their most significant leadership experience.
The cost to attend is $100, and applications must be signed by a school representative. Interested students can access the application through county Farm Bureau offices or the OKFB website.
All applications must be postmarked by April 15, 2025. For more information, contact Holly Carroll at (405) 523-2402 or holly.carroll@okfb.org.
