The Muskingum County Community Foundation and Scholarship Central Access Program recently announced a diverse range of scholarships awarded to accomplished graduating seniors from West Muskingum High School. These scholarships recognize the students' exceptional academic achievements and provide them with valuable financial support as they pursue their higher education goals.
The scholarships include the Pamela Smith Jackson Memorial Scholarship, Ashley Cordial Memorial Scholarship, Scott D. Johnston Memorial Scholarship, Jesse Miller Scholarship, Friends of Secrest Scholarship, Nick Tilton Memorial Scholarship, Gabby's Dream Scholarship, Muskingum County Democrat Club Scholarship in Memory of Brenda A. Anderson, Muskingum Valley Human Resources Management Association Scholarship, Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Fund, Corley and Melodie Thomas Scholarship, Josephine Sebach Educational Fund, and the Jeffrey A. and Lisa R. Wilson Academic Scholarship.
The scholarships cover a wide range of academic disciplines, including early childhood education, criminology, journalism and broadcasting, music education, pre-law, computer science, hospitality management, and livestock management and production.
The recipients have been accepted into renowned universities such as Kent State University, Capital University, Marietta College, University of Cincinnati, Ohio State University, Ohio University Zanesville, and Vanderbilt University.
These scholarships not only alleviate the financial burden for these deserving students but also serve as a testament to their dedication and hard work throughout their high school years.
