Farm Bureau members engaged in the Workers' Compensation Group Rating program have diverse opportunities to accrue credits in 2024. Below, discover the details for obtaining valuable credits this year.
On the Farm in Clark County: Saturday, March 16, 2024
Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 16, and head to Harbage Farms in South Charleston for an enriching day of on-the-farm training. The event, "On the Farm in Clark County," is designed to provide valuable insights into potential farm accidents and appropriate responses.
One highlight of the day is the "Stop the Bleed" class scheduled at 9 a.m. This class not only imparts crucial knowledge but also earns participants Workers' Compensation credits for the year. While the Stop the Bleed class runs from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., attendees are encouraged to stay for the entire day to make the most of the program.

- 8:30 a.m. 9 a.m.: Registration
- 9 a.m. 10 a.m.: Stop the Bleed (Workers' Compensation credits)
- 10 a.m. - 11:10 a.m.: Pediatric for Non-Ped Providers
- 11:10 a.m. - Noon: Crush Demonstration
- Noon - 12:35 p.m.: Lunch
- 12:35 p.m. - 1:35 p.m.: Structural Collapse and Rescue
- 1:40 p.m.- 2:40 p.m.: Farm Hazmat
- 2:40 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: Closing
