The 46th Annual Ohio Food and Farm Conference, hosted by the Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA), is set to take place from February 13 to February 15, 2025, at Cherry Valley Hotel and Ohio Event Center in Newark, Ohio.
This three-day event is Ohio’s largest sustainable agriculture conference, bringing together farmers, advocates, and food enthusiasts.
This year’s theme, "Boldly Grow," emphasizes innovation and community building in sustainable and organic farming. Keynote speaker Gary Nabhan, an award-winning agroecologist and nature writer, will share his expertise on agroecology and foodshed restoration.
The conference includes five full-day Food and Farm School classes on February 13, covering topics such as farm succession planning, organic certification, farmer-led research, and entering wholesale markets. These sessions offer in-depth learning opportunities for attendees.
Over 50 workshops on farming, homesteading, and gardening will be held throughout the event, along with demonstrations, networking spaces, and activities.
Attendees can explore the exhibit hall, engage in a seed swap, participate in happy hours, and enjoy locally sourced meals. Special spaces for BIPOC farmers, queer farmers, and landseekers will provide inclusive networking opportunities.
Registration grants access to in-person activities as well as recorded keynote and workshop sessions. Early bird pricing, scholarships, and volunteer opportunities are available until January 10, with online registration closing on February 1.
This conference continues its tradition of promoting sustainable agriculture, fostering connections, and supporting organic farming in Ohio and beyond. Visit conference.oeffa.org to register and learn more.
