Tips for staying safe in the heat

Tips for staying safe in the heat

It will be another hot day in Ohio on July 17, mostly sunny with a high of 84 degrees Fahrenheit. There is a slight chance of showers in the afternoon, but the overall forecast looks good.

Here are some tips for staying safe in the heat:

  • Drink plenty of fluids.
  • Wear light-colored, loose-fitting clothing.
  • Avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day.
  • Take breaks in a cool place.
  • If you are outside, be sure to reapply sunscreen every two hours.

If you are planning on being outdoors on July 17, be sure to dress appropriately and stay hydrated. The weather should be mostly pleasant, but there is always a chance of rain.
