Modern Farm Technology Display Returns in 2027

By Jamie Martin

AEM is set to return the Celebration of Modern Agriculture to the National Mall in Washington, DC, in May 2027, marking its third appearance in the capital city. The exhibition will focus on agricultural innovation and how it supports productivity, conservation, and resilient food systems.

It will feature a broad display of modern farm machinery, including tractors, sprayers, combines, and various implements of different capacities. The event will provide an opportunity for visitors, including policymakers and members of the public, to observe cutting-edge agricultural technology in action.

“Our agricultural community is eager to return to the National Mall,” said Nick Tindall, AEM’s senior director of regulatory affairs. “This event creates a meaningful opportunity to demonstrate how modern practices and innovation are driving efficiency and productivity for our nation’s farmers.”

During the 2024 edition, more than 15,000 people attended the three-day event, which showcased over 80 pieces of equipment, demonstrating strong public interest in agricultural innovation.

AEM also highlights the importance of such events in strengthening connections between agricultural producers, researchers, and policymakers. It shows how modern machinery and digital tools contribute to efficient production, environmental protection, and food security.

The exhibition continues to serve as a bridge between rural communities and urban audiences, helping improve understanding of food production systems. AEM expects strong interest in the 2027 event based on the success of previous editions.

The showcase remains an important opportunity for public engagement and education about the role of technology in agriculture. Organizers believe that continued participation from industry and government will help promote awareness of sustainable farming practices and innovation across the United States.

Overall, the exhibition highlights the progress of modern agriculture and its importance for future food security and economic development. AEM continues to promote awareness of modern farming through exhibitions, outreach programs, and partnerships with industry stakeholders.
